None seem to teach.
Whenever we wanted to learn,
Some laughed at our speech.
Whenever we needed to learn,
Few even tried.
When we needed to learn,
We turned to FLY.

Fun and friends, friends and fun.
What's right is wrong, what's wrong is right.
Then you came along and made me think twice.
I love you for that and because you were there
When I cried, when I called, when I needed you most.
In class or out, you opened my eyes
And made me see.
Now that this is over, and we're all moving on,
I just have one thing to say.

Fresh lifelines for the youth.
If you don't know about the law and the consequences,
You're about to get locked up. And that's the truth.
FLY has taught me about the three strikes, gang affiliation,
What's wrong and what's right.
And if you get approached by the cops, don't fight,
Because it escalates if you do.
So I got to give thanks to Missy, Mike, and Roewina, too.
Because now I got my life straight,
Going the right way.
So once again, thanks to the FLY program
For making me the new person I am.
